Top 100 Homeschool Blogs
It was a surprise to open my email and receive notification that Homegrown Learners had been selected as one of the Top 100 Homeschooling blogs. This distinction does not come from any nominations that are solicited by the blog owner (which I truly appreciate).
Elementary teacher turned homeschool practitioner and blogger intent on putting family first, Mary ponders the best way to serve as ambassador to the cause, gives credit to the great guy behind this homeschool mom and connects to the blogging community by sharing photo collages that capture a week’s worth of lively learning on “Homegrown Learners”.
While I'm not one for awards, this struck as being such an accurate description about what I want Homegrown Learners to BE ABOUT. I want it to be a blog about PEDAGOGY, AMBASSADORSHIP, and FAMILY.
The list of blogs on the list is impressive. If you're wondering who compiles the list, it is Teacher Certification Degrees. I plan to take some time this weekend to relax and read many of them. Some I am very familiar with, and some I am not. For the full list, click here.
