A Strange Finding

Magnolia stellata {Star Magnolia}

This tree generally blooms in late March, but we spotted this on February 7... a very warm winter indeed!

A nature walk proved quite interesting.  There are so many things blooming.   We wonder what will happen if we get a hard frost or snow?

So thankful we had the time to walk, talk, and ponder.

Do you take regular nature walks with your children?

God has given us a beautiful creation to enjoy.

 “But ask the beasts, and they will teach you;
   the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you;
 or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you;
   and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
 Who among all these does not know
   that the hand of the LORD has done this?
 In his hand is the life of every living thing
   and the breath of all mankind."

Job 12:7-10

Buttercups are blooming here, and our maple tree out back has budded. I hope for their sakes it doesn't freeze!
