A Rhyme for Setting the Table to use with your Little Ones

We've been setting tables at my house! This morning I came across a printable place setting

and then just a little while ago a friend of mine sent me this cute rhyme to help us remember how to set the table as well!

Hey diddle, diddle, the plate is in the middle,
the cow jumped over the moon.
The fork is on the left,
the knife is on the right,
on the inside of the spoon.

I love it when things come together. I hope you can use this with your little ones as Thanksgiving approaches!

This post is linked up to The Homeschool Village. Pay them a visit to see what's happening with other homeschoolers today!

Cute! And, on the right (5 letters) goes the glass and on the left (4 letters) goes the extra dish.
