Do you have a LEGO lover in your house?
We've been using LEGOS in all areas of our learning for many years. One area that LEGOS have proven particularly helpful in is writing.
The creativity in creating with LEGOS goes hand in hand with the creativity in writing.
(Have you seen the many FREE LEGO writing prompts available here at Homegrown Learners? We have LOTS!)
The LEGO Back to School Prompts are loads of fun!
In these writing prompts I ask your child to put themselves inside the head of their favorite LEGO minifigs. It will get your childwriting about their minifig's favorite subject, summer vacation to LEGOLAND, and how they can make them get up in the morning to do their school work!
The prompts are simple, quick, and thought provoking. I have provided extra lined paper so your children can write as much as their heart desires!
One example from the set:
My son loves his Fairytale and Historic Minifigures Set from LEGO Education®. These are great minifigs for use during read-alouds, inspiring creative writing, and so much more.
When he pulled the bucket of them out last week I knew we had to have MORE writing prompts!
While you're at it, visit my other free LEGO printables and ideas on the LEGO Learning page.
It's going to be a great LEGO year!
