Spring Fun! Activities for All Ages

Spring! Every homeschooling mama can't wait for it. Unless you live in a warm climate, you're ready to break the monotony of those winter months and get outdoors, try new activities, and have spring fun.

It's also important to remember what is truly important in your homeschool. Seize those moments. Treasure your precious children. Life is short and we have been gifted our homeschooling days.

Cultivate the wonder!

A Change of Mindset

New Years isn't the only time of year to make resolutions. Spring is a great time to re-think, re-evaluate, and try new things.

If you or your children have struggled with poor attitudes about school work, and the love of learning has been stretched thin over the long winter season, it might be time to shake things up, create a new schedule, and make the most of the new season.

This change of mind can begin with looking out windows instead of inside textbooks.

Put the books down and start some new adventures.

Learning New Things

Start with a little daydreaming. What kind of things do you want to try now that you can get outdoors? Ask your children to help you with this step.

Do you have a skateboard or hula hoop just waiting to be warmed up? Is there a pond or neighborhood park where you can venture to observe and explore the local wildlife?

Dream big! Have fun! Sometimes it is as simple as just getting outside into the fresh air to let the new ideas start flowing.
